The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced Tuesday it raised $9.5 million in the first month of the year.

“House Republicans started the year off by continuing to prioritize political games over bipartisan solutions, all while pushing the government towards another shutdown,” DCCC Chair Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-Wash.) said in a statement.

“House Democrats will continue to stand against this rampant extremism and dysfunction, and I am grateful to my colleagues, Leader Jeffries, and grassroots donors across the country for ensuring the DCCC is equipped with the resources it needs to take back the House so we can continue lowering costs and defending our rights and freedoms for working people.”
